The 361Firm Foundation in partnership with EdLinks hosted a special event and fundraiser for 8 to 80 Zones, a collaboration between Steve Young and Jerry Rice.

The 8 to 80 Zones provide youth living in underserved communities the skills to pursue careers in technology and media.

The event consisted of a screening of the film In Search of Greatness followed by a live-virtual event/fundraiser featuring the director of the film, Gabe Polsky, and ex-49er players Jerry Rice, and Steve Young . 80% of contributions will fund East Palo Alto 8 to 80 Zone*; 20% to seed the 361Firm Foundation.

Drawing Winner: After the event there was a drawing with the chance to win a 49ers helmet signed by Joe Montana, Steve Young, and Jerry Rice. We are proud to announce that the winner of the drawing was Turner Smith!

By Saturday, Jan. 23, you can still contribute, then watch the movie, and see the recorded event. Once you contribute, the movie link and password will be provided. The movie will be available until Jan. 23 and you can access it by contributing at any level. “SWAG Boxes” are still available at the VIP levels(until they run out). You will also receive a link to the full recording of the event with Jerry Rice & Steve Young.
